Time and Days: Thurs. evenings, 6-9 p.m.

Description:

This is a beginning acrylic painting class.

We will begin with alla prima painting of a floral still life and cover the importance of the elements of art and design as we pursue creating unique compositions. Students are encouraged to bring personal photographs to be used as inspiration for their paintings during the course. We will discuss the importance of drawing skills for beginning a painting, various painting techniques, color theory and color mixing, and preparing the painting ground. 

 

Diana has 25 years of teaching experience in Pasco County.

Diana is also the chair for the art show at the Pasco County Fair.

She has a BFA in Painting & a Teaching Certificate, from Bowling Green State University, 1987, and an MEdu from Saint Leo University, 2001.

 

 

Cost: $130 members, $145 non-members
