Annie Harris

I have been a summer resident on Madeline Island since 1978 & during the winters I live in Florida by the Gulf of Mexico. Both locations offer beautiful views of water and lovely sunsets that have influenced my paintings as well as my color palette. I have an associate art degree from Bennet College and a bachelor of fine arts degree by the University of Arizona, and was working on my masters degree of Fine Arts before the birth of my first child. I am a member of the CPAC and Florida Watercolor Society. I work in both watercolors and acrylics. I do both figure painting and landscapes. I have had numerous one-man shows in both Madeline Island, Sarasota, and in New Port Richey. My last show at PFAC, I sold 60 paintings and donated all of the profits to PFAC. My paintings are held in both corporate and private collections throughout the United States and Canada; including the University of Minnesota's permanent collection.
